Site work and paving for a road / highway in Berwyn, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project consists of constructing, supplying, and installing for roadway paving: 96,284 SY Milling, 4,816 SY Type 1 Base repair, 580 tons leveling course, 8,940 Tons of 9.5 MM Superpave, and a unit price for Type 2 Base Repair. For the Municipal Complex Paving: 5,684 SY Milling, 150 SY Type 1 Base Repair, 142 Tons Leveling, and 490 Tons of 9.5 MM Superpave. All pavement markings, including but not limited to double yellow line, stop bars, crosswalks, turn lanes, school zones and all markings associated with intersections must be completed in accordance with Penn DOT specifications. All quantities are approximate and for informational purposes only. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the bid price, subject to the conditions in the Instructions to Bidders. A 100% performance bond is required. The project is classified as Public Works and subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, and prevailing minimum wage rates must be paid. Tredyffrin Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding. Deadline to submit Questions Apr 29th 2026, 10:00 AM EDT
