Scope includes level course and double chip seal coat on Yoder Road (T-513) using PennDOT approved materials. All construction and materials must meet current PA Department of Transportation specifications. The project must start on or after July 20, 2026 and must be completed by September 30, 2026. Bids will be accepted electronically via the PennBid Program. All proposals must be upon forms provided in the PennBid system. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent of the bid amount, made payable to West Nantmeal Township. The bid bond or scan of the check shall be uploaded to PennBid. The apparent lower bidder will be required to provide the original copy of the check within three days of bid opening. The successful bidder must furnish the required documents as listed in the specification within ten days after the contract has been awarded. Bids may not be modified, withdrawn, or canceled within a period of 60 days following the date for receipt of bids without the prior written consent of West Nantmeal Township. West Nantmeal Township encourages that bidders independently visit the site and to coordinate with the Engineer via PennBid if they wish to meet with them onsite. The Township reserves the right to waive any informalities, irregularities, defects, errors, or omissions in any or all bids and to reject any or all proposals or a portion of any or all proposals.
