The Project is located at 357 East 12th Street, Pittsburg, California, and is described as follows: The scope of work for this Contract includes installation of groundwater monitoring wells, exploratory soil borings, air/soil-vapor samplings and all other work necessary to complete the project in accordance with the Plans, Specifications and as directed by the Engineer. Instructions to bidders include: - The bid proposal must be accompanied by bid security of ten percent of the maximum bid amount, in the form of a cashier's or certified check made payable to the City, or a bid bond executed by a surety licensed to do business in the State of California on the specified form. - Within ten days after the City issues the Notice of Potential Award, the successful bidder must execute the contract and submit payment and performance bonds, insurance certificates and endorsements, valid Certificates of Reported Compliance under the California Air Resources Board's In-Use Off-Road Diesel-Fueled Fleets Regulation (13 CCR 2449 et seq.), if applicable, and any other required submittals. - The project is subject to prevailing wage requirements, and all contractors and subcontractors must pay no less than the specified rates to all workers employed on the project.
