The Contractor shall supply all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work in accordance with the specifications. Scope of Work (Daniel) A. This contract covers the installation and removal of preformed pavement markings on public streets throughout the City of Longmont. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment, and is responsible for ensuring proper installation by trained personnel. B. Approved materials include 3M Stamark 380I ES and Ennis-Flint PremarkXF®, or any CDOT-approved alternate. Paint markings require water-based road marking paint with glass beads for centerlines and long lines, and double-coat paint without beads for parking lines. Removal methods vary by surface type — grinding for concrete and burning/scraping for asphalt. The Contractor carries a 1-year workmanship warranty. C. All work must conform to the current MUTCD, CDOT Standard Specifications, and City of Longmont standards. Work orders will be issued with a minimum 2- week completion window, with tighter timelines possible near schools or critical locations. Traffic control plans, prepared by a certified Traffic Control Supervisor, must be submitted prior to mobilization and are incidental to contract pricing.
