Renovation of a multi-residential development in Paterson, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
Generator replacement at the following sites as outlined in the Technical Specifications: Nathan Barnert Homes, 64-68 Keen Street; Dr. Norman Cotton Homes, 163 Rosa Parks; Joseph Masiello Homes, 255 Atlantic Street; Gordon Canfield, 160 Ward Street, Paterson, NJ. Bidders must submit bids in a sealed envelope marked with the job title as stated. Bidders must comply with all applicable Federal, State, and Municipal Laws, including those related to Affirmative Action, Equal Opportunity, Ownership, Disclosure, and Security. NJ Statutes 40A:11-16 regarding subcontractors must be followed. Specifications and plans are available at the Real Estate Development and Management Office. All bidders must attend a pre-bid conference and mandatory site visit. The work is financed under the Capital Fund Program by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and is subject to Section 3 requirements. All bidders awarded contracts over $17,500 must submit a performance bond. Bids must be accompanied by a bid guaranty of not less than 10% of the total bid, by certified check, bank draft, U.S. Government Bond, or a certificate of guarantee bond from an authorized surety company. Failure to submit such will result in bid rejection. All bidders must be licensed, registered, or legally permitted to conduct construction contracting business in New Jersey and meet all insurance requirements in the specifications. Minority Business Enterprises will have full opportunity to bid and will not face discrimination based on race, color, sex, or national origin.
