Sealed bids are requested for pavement markings. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and insurance to perform all work required for the project known as the Pavement Markings - H-26-02 Project. 4 inch reflectorized yellow line (painted) , pavement arrows and legends refl. white (thermoplast ic) . green colorized pavement markings , 4 inch reflectorized white line (thermoplastic),6 inch reflectorized white line (thermoplastic), 12 inch reflectorized white line (thermoplastic) , 4 inch reflectorized yellow line (thermoplastic The Work consists of line stripping and pavement mar kings at various locations throughout the Town of Oxford, including but not lim ited to striping of the center lines, fog lines, crosswalks, arrows and legends, bicycle l ane markings, and all work incidental thereto, in accordance with the Specifications attached hereto. Bidders must obtain specifications and bid forms from the provided website and must submit bids using the forms provided. Each bid must include a bid security consisting of a Bid Bond, Cash, or Certified Check from a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of 5% of the bid price. Work requires a 50% Payment Bond. All bids are subject to applicable Massachusetts public bidding laws. Wage rates must comply with those set forth by the Commonwealth Department of Labor and Workforce Development. Selection will be based on bidder qualification, evidence of past performance in similar projects, and bid price. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and eligible bidder. Bids must be valid for 30 days after opening. The Town reserves the right to waive informalities, accept or reject all bids, or take other action in the best interest of the Town.
