The City of Monroe is seeking sealed quotes for the supply and delivery of specific construction materials. The required materials and approximate quantities are: 5000 tons of 1 1/4-inch crushed aggregate base course, 5000 tons of 3-inch crushed aggregate sub-base course, 100 tons of 2-1/2 inch clear stone aggregate base course, 100 tons of 1-inch crushed limestone (clear), 700 tons of 3/8-inch limestone chips (clear), 9000 tons of HMA pavement 4 LT 58-28 S (to be picked up by the city), and 60 tons of medium rip rap. Quoting documents can be obtained from the City Engineering Department. The first copy is free, with a $10 charge for additional copies. Overnight mailing of the documents will not be provided.
