Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Monroe, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and 10,028-square-foot sidewalk / parking lot.
The work includes the construction of approximately 7,173 linear feet of remove and replace 30" concrete curb and gutter, 10,028 square feet of remove and replace 6" concrete sidewalk, and 1,691 linear feet of saw cut concrete. Each bid must include a certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Monroe, or a satisfactory bid bond in the amount of 5% of the gross bid, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the successful bidder will execute and file the proper contract and performance bond within the specified time limit. Submission of a performance bond is required. Completed Bidders Proof of Responsibility forms must be submitted at least five calendar days prior to the bid opening. Only bidders who have submitted these forms may have their bids read. The City affirms that disadvantaged business enterprises will have the opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities, and accept any bid deemed advantageous. All bids will remain subject to acceptance for thirty days after bid opening. No cash or personal checks will be accepted. Question Deadline 05/01/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to Engineer.
