Plan File No. 681-010/030 The improvement includes removals, storm sewer installation, intakes, Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) Pavement, PCC driveways, Hot-Mix Asphalt (HMA) pavement, modified subbase, gabion baskets, traffic control, erosion control, restoration, seeding, and other miscellaneous work, all in accordance with the contract documents including Plan File No. 681-010/030, located at E 25th Street from E Sheridan Avenue to Boyd Street, E 18th Street and E Market Street, SW 61st Street and Park Avenue, and other locations directed by the City Engineer in Des Moines, Iowa. Sealed bids must be accompanied by bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code and as specified by the Jurisdiction. Preference will be given to products and provisions grown and coal produced within the State of Iowa, and to Iowa domestic labor, to the extent lawfully required under Iowa statutes. Bidders should not include sales tax in the bid. A sales tax exemption certificate will be available for all material purchased for incorporation in the project. The City of Des Moines reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
