Question Cuttoff Date & Time 3/31/2026 12:00:00 PM (ET) Concrete Tee Pads and Sign Posts for Disc Golf Course - Consisting of the construction and/or furnishing of items as listed in the Bid Schedule beginning on page P-6, Part III, Form of Proposal, of this document, for the Concrete Tee Pads and Sign Posts for Disc Golf Course, Lexington-Fayette County, Kentucky. 1. The tee pads must be formed and finished broom swept concrete, set on a 3" thick base of compacted #57s. The dimensions for each tee pad will be as noted in Figure 4. Each pad will have a single control joint at each pad midpoint. Control joints to be floated and filled with polyurethane self-leveling sealant. Tee pads to have max longitudinal and cross slope of 1/4 inch per foot. 2. There will be a total of 28 tee pads, per Figure 4. In general, the different sizes specified are: a. (10) 6 feet wide by 13 feet length by 4.5" thick b. (18) 5 feet wide by 12 feet length by 4.5" thick 3. Most of the tee pads will be located on relatively flat ground, but there will be several that may be located partially on sloped terrain and will require some localized grading extending out 5-15 feet in any direction to create a level surface. All tee pads should have a level and flush surface extending 5 ft out on all sides, unless otherwise approved by the Owner. 4. The cut and fill should be balanced on site. 5. All disturbed land shall be seeded and strawed. 6. For all concrete tee pads the concrete must be transported to each individual location using either buggies, a mini mixer on a trailer, or Contractor may propose alternative. Tee Pad Sign Post Installation Near/behind each tee pad, owner/designer will determine location for a timber sign post. The post should be ground contact treated 4"x4". Post to be 4 ft tall above ground, with angle cut tops. Post should be anchored to Simpson Strong Tie. Set in concrete footer with minimum depth of 18" and post hole diameter of 12". Post should be set with taller face parallel to tee pad. After post is set, wood to be stained to match 3-board fencing. There will be a total of 28 tee-pad sign posts. Sign panels to be designed, fabricated, and installed by others. All land disturbed by footer installation to be cleanly distributed and seeding and strawing. Disc Golf Basket Type and Installation The disc golf baskets are to be MVP Disc Sports Black Hole Gravity. There will be 18 red powder-coated baskets, 18 blue powder-coated baskets, and then 2 black powder-coated. The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government has a Certified Minority and Women Business Enterprise seventeen percent (17%) minimum goal including minimum subgoals of five percent (5%) for Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and a subgoal of twelve percent (12%) for Women Business Enterprises (WBE); a three (3%) minimum goal for Certified Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and/or Certified Service- Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses; and a goal of utilizing Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE), where applicable, for government contracts. * Bid security is not required for projects under $50,000.
