Site work for a water / sewer project in Stillman Valley, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The proposed work consists of the rehabilitation of the Well #3 submersible pump. All work under the contract must be substantially complete within 60 calendar days and final completion must occur within 120 calendar days from the execution of the Notice to Proceed. Instructions to bidders include: - Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bank draft on a responsible solvent bank, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder on an acceptable surety company, payable to Village of Stillman Valley, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid. - The successful bidder must provide satisfactory performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the awarded contract price. - No bid may be withdrawn after opening without the consent of the Village of Stillman Valley for a period of sixty (60) days. - Not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the construction documents must be paid on this project, and the contractor must ensure non-discrimination in employment. - The Village of Stillman Valley reserves the right to reject any non-responsive or non-responsible bid. Bids may be held for up to sixty (60) days for review and qualification purposes before awarding the contract.
