**As of May 27, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded in June 2026.** The work generally includes the replacement of existing 30-inch pre-stressed concrete cylinder pipe with approximately 9,291 linear feet of 30-inch ductile iron pipe and all related work, as well as the installation of approximately 746 linear feet of 8-inch PVC pipe and all appurtenant work as shown on the drawings and specified. Bids are required for work on Flint St from W 55th St to W 57th St, Stearns St from W 67th St to W 69th St, and Switzer Rd from W 69th St to W 79th St. All inquiries about the Invitation to Bid may be made by contacting Megan Fairchild, Project Engineer at Water District No. 1 of Johnson County, at telephone number (913) 895-5722 or email mfairchild@waterone.org.
