C. Installation of the following: 1 Roof insulation, tapered. (Refer to drawings). 2 Torch-applied Modified built-up roofing system. Granular surfaced a. Two (2) ply torch-applied base and one ply torch-applied cap (finish) sheet. b. Air handling units only: 1. EPDM single-ply membrane .060thk., covering batten insulation boards. 3 Specified flashings and accessories. 4 Re-work existing internal drain bowl assemblies and exterior strainers. 5 Installation of miscellaneous flashings and accessories. Bidders must submit requests for information or clarification through the platform by the stated deadline. All questions will be answered through the platform. Pre-bid conference attendance is not mandatory but strongly encouraged. Bidders must submit an electronic bid bond amounting to ten percent of the total price bid (capped at $20,000), payable unconditionally to Bergen County Treasurer, together with a Certificate (Consent of Surety) and Power of Attorney for the full bid amount from a Surety Company authorized to operate in New Jersey. The successful bidder will be required to provide a consolidated Performance and Payment Bond for 100% of the contract.
