Site work for a water / sewer project in Monongahela, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
2023 LSA (24-36) The project consists of the internal visual inspection of forty-three (43) sanitary sewer manholes located within the right of way of Norfolk Southern Railway property. All work must be performed within the 50 linear feet right of way of the railway property. The successful bidder is responsible for coordinating directly with the Railroad to obtain all required permissions, insurances, safety training, and to coordinate required flagging operations. Work also includes traffic control as required. Bidders may not qualify any of the specifications. A certified check payable to the Municipal Authority of the City of Monongahela or a bid bond executed by the bidder and an approved surety company, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid, must be submitted with each bid. No bid bond will be waived or returned due to the bidder's failure to comply with any requirement. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) calendar days after the scheduled closing time. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. Work is subject to the requirements of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act.
