Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Whittier, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a wastewater treatment plant.

The project involves landscape architectural design services for the compliance of AB 1572 at the A.K. Warren Water Resource Facility, which currently contains approximately six acres of non-functional turf. The scope includes removal and replacement of this turf with a water-efficient and operationally appropriate landscape design. Services required are planning, design, regulatory compliance, and implementation of the turf conversion. The selected firm will coordinate with Districts staff to develop a compliant, sustainable, and maintainable design suitable for an active facility. The process intends to identify the most qualified firm for professional services, with negotiation of scope and compensation to follow. Responders must confirm their ability to supply liquid defoamant as specified, and vendors will be prequalified based on tests, hazardous ratings, and other criteria, with qualified vendors advancing to the ITB stage.
