Work includes site surveying; preparation of grading plans and headstone realignment plans; vegetation removal; grading and drainage improvements; excavation and backfill; headstone identification and tagging; headstone handling; installation of a flat marker geogrid support system; headstone re-installation; headstone cleaning; turf renovation; and site restoration. Headstones include both upright headstones and flat markers. All work must adhere to National Cemetery Administration standards. The project must be completed within 365 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed, including submittals, reviews, quality control, construction services, punch list corrections, cleanup, invoicing, and closeout documentation. Turf renovation activities must occur during the specified seasonal windows, and turf must be fully established prior to winter, with no bare ground remaining.
