As of April 17, 2026 project was awarded to Gerke Excavating Inc, awarded amount is $207,061.40 This project consists of recon-structing 1 blocks of existing streets on St. Cloud Street be-tween Avon Street and Liberty Street including water and sanitary installation as well as storm replacements. Items to bid include approxi mately 2 sewer manholes com-plete, 290 lineal feet of sanitary sewer, 300 lineal feet of storm sewer, 500 lineal feet of water, 520 lineal feet of curb and gut-ter, 1,800 square feet of con-crete flatwork. Other items necessary to complete the project. Every request for such an interpretation shall be made in writing to the Local Public Agency. Any inquiry received seven or more days prior to the date fixed for opening of Bids will be given consideration Dewatering if required, is solely Contractor responsobility. It is likely that the dewatering activities would be required. Any bypass if required, is incidental and cost should be included in related bid items All sanitary sewer manholes should be installed with the MacWrap on external joints to prevent infiltration and cost should be included in related bid items. City of La Crosse Sewer Department would provide all neccesary castings and install them (core and pour) within asphalt pavement. City of La Crosse Street Department would remove asphalt and concrete (C&G, flatwork). They would also repave the street once project is completed.
