Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.

The work on this contract is gen-erally described as providing and installing a prefabricated water metering station including minor site grading, process piping and equipment, heating, ventilation, electrical, and instrumentation and control. The above public work will be let to the lowest responsible bidder and shall be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for the same now on file with the Engineering Department for the inspection of bidders and in accordance with the prepared form of contract and bond also on file with said Engineering Department No bid shall be awarded unless accompanied by Certificate of Organisation and ion and Authority, Disclosure of Ownership, together with a list of Subcontractors; and no bid shall be received without certified check for not less than 5% nor more than 10% of the total amount bid or a bid bond for not less than 5% nor more than 10% of the total amount bid. Bidder's Proof of Responsibility paperwork must be on file with the City of La Crosse. If not up-to-date, new paperwork shall be submitted electronically to the Director of Finance, via email at: apvendors@cityoflacrosse.org. The subject line shall be "Bidder's Proof. New submittals are due no later than 4:00 p.m. on the Thursday one week prior to bid. showing sufficient financial abil ity, equipment, and experience to properly perform the contract. The BPW decision regarding qualification is final, Bids will be accepted only from such qualified bidders. The Notice to Contractors, the Information to Bidders, the Bid Proposal, the Certificate of Orga nization and Authority, Disclosure of Ownership, Bid Bond and list of Subcontractors, the Perfor-mance-Payment Bond, the Gen-eral Conditions, Specifications, Plans, Addenda (if any), and all ordinances of the City applicable to this contract shall be consid ered a part of the contract. The time for commencement of the work shall be no sooner than ten (10) days after Common Council shall have awarded the contract and shall be completed. Every request for such an interpretation shall be made in writing to the Local Public Agency. Any inquiry received seven or more days prior to the date fixed for opening of Bids will be given consideration.
