Description

Site work and addition to a playground / park / athletic field in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Completed plans call civil work for a playground / park / athletic field.

The construction involves building eight additional pickleball courts at 2401 15th St S, Trane Park. The public work will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder and must be performed according to the plans and specifications on file with the Engineering Department, and under the prepared form of contract and bond also on file with said department. Bids require a Certificate of Organization and Authority, Disclosure of Ownership, a list of Subcontractors, and a certified check or bid bond for 5% to 10% of the total amount bid. Bidders must have current Proof of Responsibility paperwork on file with the City, showing sufficient financial ability, equipment, and experience. Bids will only be accepted electronically via the specified online service. The commencement of work shall be no sooner than ten days after the awarding of the contract by the Common Council, and the work must be completed by September 4th, 2026. All related documents, including Notice to Contractors, Information to Bidders, Bid Proposal, certificates, bonds, general conditions, specifications, plans, addenda, and applicable ordinances, are considered part of the contract.
