Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

This project consists of reconstructing 2 blocks of existing streets on Vine Street and 16th Street, including water and sanitary replacement as well as new storm installation. Because of the proximity to the UW La Crosse campus the work should be completed between June 1st (or after track and field meet) and August 17th. Dewatering is not anticipated for this project but if required, is solely Contractor responsobility. Any bypass if required, is incidental and cost should be included in related bid items. City of La Crosse Sewer Department would provide all neccesary castings. The contractor shall be responsible for all castings installation or resetting. City of La Crosse Street Department would remove asphalt and most of the concrete (C&G, flatwork). They would also be responsible for the new base and pavement installation. No bid shall be awarded unless accompanied by Certificate of Or-ganization and Authority, Disclo sure of Ownership, together with a list of Subcontractors; and no bid shall be received without cer-tified check for not less than 5%, nor more than 10% of the total amount bid or a bid bond for not less than 6% nor more than 10% of the total amount bid. Every request for such an interpretation shall be made in writing to the Local Public Agency. Any inquiry received seven or more days prior to the date fixed for opening of Bids will be given consideration.
