The work shall consist of the rehabilitation of the Purdue Lift Station within the South Coast Conservancy District. The final scope of work for the lift station will be considered for selection/award based on individual base and optional/alternate bid items, so that the SCCD Board may maintain the option of selecting all or any combination of the lift station's rehabilitation work scope, based on funding availability. For the lift station, the work scope being contemplated generally encompass the rehabilitation within the wet well, inclusive of the removal and replacement of all piping, pump guides and rails, floats/ level detection equipment, supports and guides, and relining of the wet well with a cure-in-place system. In addition, valve vault improvements, including the removal/replacement of existing gate and check valves and the addition of an isolation valve on the existing discharge force main are considered in the project. Bids will be received on the following contract: Anticipated award date is on or before May 19, 2026. Bids shall be sealed and shall have the name and address of the bidder and the contract for which the bid is being submitted on the outside of the envelope. All bidders shall bid in accordance with and upon the Bid Forms included in the contract documents. Doc Note: A non-refundable processing charge of twenty-five dollars ($25) will be required for the digital transmission of contract documents. All checks should be made payable to McMahon Associates, Inc. The processing charge is required whether plans and specifications are transmitted digitally or mailed/picked up on a usb thumb drive. No hard copies of the contract documents will be made available to bidders. BID SECURITY- No bid shall be received unless accompanied by a certified check or satisfactory bid bond payable to South Coast Conservancy District in the amount not less than 5% of the maximum bid as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the contract, performance/payment bonds and insurance certification, as required by the contract documents, within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award. BID REJECTION- The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities in bidding or to accept the bid or bids which best serves the interests of the South Coast Conservancy District. WITHDRAWAL OF BIDS- No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60-days after the scheduled opening without the consent of the OWNER.
