Sealed bids are requested for the renovation of the rear basement access stairs at 157 Franklin Building, 157 Franklin Street, Valparaiso, IN. All work for the complete construction of the project will be under one prime contract with the owner. Construction must be in full accordance with the bidding documents. Bid security in the amount of ten percent of the bid must accompany each bid. The successful bidders will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds for one hundred percent of the contract amount prior to execution of contract. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bid or combination of bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding. All bids may be held for a period not to exceed 60 days before awarding contracts. All work for the complete construction of the Project will be under one prime contract with the Owner based on bids received. The Engineer, American Structurepoint, Inc., will provide construction phase oversight of the Project. Question Deadline 05/08/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the bidding documents or any discrepancies or omissions identified therein are to be submitted to Owner in writing. All such questions shall be submitted directly to the contact identified in the Invitation to Bid. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Owner in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Owner as having received the bidding documents.
