Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Urbana, Ohio. Completed plans call for the construction of a 7,596-square-foot, six-unit transportation facility.

Work is for the construction of a 6-Unit T-Hangar at the Neil Armstrong Airport, including grading, concrete, structural steel, electrical, and necessary incidentals to complete the work as detailed on the Contract Drawings and specified in the Contract Documents for "Construct Hangar (7,596 SF)" at Grimes Municipal Airport. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and material necessary to complete the work. All work is located at the Grimes Municipal Airport, 1636 N. Main Street, Urbana, OH. Bidders are to obtain contract documents through the office of the Engineer. Bids must be properly executed and accompanied by the documents required by the bid forms, specifications, and related legal documents. No bidder may withdraw their proposal within sixty days after the bid date. The Owner reserves the right to retain any or all bids for a period of not more than sixty days. The Owner further reserves the right to waive informalities and to award the contract to any bidder for the Owner's advantage or to reject all bids. A bid bond or certified check equal to ten percent of the total bid is required. Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price, will be required. Each bid shall be accompanied by the bidder's financial statement, a statement of experience, a proposed plan or plans for performing the public work, and the equipment available for the performance of the public work. Wage rates must be in accordance with the most recent Wage Rate Decision of the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Labor. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, or national origin in consideration for an award. The contract is subject to all applicable federal and state requirements including the equal opportunity clause, and the Bidder must supply all information required by the bid or proposal form.
