Remodeling of a municipal facility in Palatine, Illinois. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 17,635-square-foot municipal facility.
The Palatine Park District is accepting sealed bids for the Administration Building Remodeling project. Trade packages available include Demolition, General Trades, Roofing, Aluminum/Glass/Glazing, Acoustical Ceiling, Flooring, Painting, Elevator, Fire Protection, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, and Asphalt Paving & Site Concrete. The project involves 17,635 SF of interior remodeling, including new offices, meeting rooms, board room, support spaces, as well as minor site improvements such as new entrance sidewalks, parking lot repaving, and a new dumpster enclosure. Bidders must comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding equal employment and payment of prevailing wages. Minority business firms are encouraged to submit bids, and successful contractors are encouraged to use minority businesses as subcontractors for supplies, equipment, and services. The Park District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to accept only portions of a proposal, and to waive any bid irregularities.
