Site work for a mixed-use development in Burbank, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Consists of maintenance of the Mason Avenue & 76th Street entrance and parking lot (3,778 SQ YD) including hot-mix asphalt paving and patching, bituminous asphalt pavement sealer, P.C. Concrete sidewalk and driveway pavement, Concrete combination concrete curb and gutter removal and replacement, wheel stop installation, parking lot pavement markings, chain link fence removal, chain link fence and gate installation, topsoil placement, seed and sodding restoration, and all other appurtenant work. All applicable work will be in conformance with the "Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction", dated January 1, 2022. Plans and proposal forms are available for download only from QuestCDN via the Novotny Engineering website for a non-refundable charge. Only qualified Contractors who can furnish satisfactory proof that they have performed work of similar nature as Contractors will be entitled to receive Plans and submit Proposals. Bidders may be required to submit a "Statement of Experience" listing previous projects of similar nature. The Owner reserves the right to issue Bid Documents only to those Contractors deemed qualified. All Proposals must be accompanied by a Bank Cashier's Check, Bank Draft, Certified Check, or Bid Bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid. No Bid may be withdrawn after opening of Proposals without the consent of the Owner for a period of forty-five (45) days. The Contractor will be required to furnish a labor and material "Performance Bond" in the full amount of the Contract and to pay Prevailing Wages in accordance with all applicable laws. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, to waive technicalities, and to accept the Proposal deemed to be most favorable to the Owner.
