Sealed proposals will be received for furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment required to construct Trails, Sidewalks & Curb Ramps - Section II for Sanitary and Improvement District 368, Sarpy County, Nebraska, as per the plans and specifications. The work consists essentially of the following approximate quantities: clearing and grubbing, saw cutting full depth, excavation on-site, clearing and grubbing specified trees, removing timber wall, pavement, sidewalk, and hand rail, constructing a 6" thick P.C.C. trail, segmental block retaining wall, installing safety rail, type "A" seeding with S-75 matting, seeding and erosion control matting, installing silt fence, and excavation haul off. All proposals must be submitted on bid forms furnished by E & A Consulting Group, Inc., and must be accompanied by an original bid bond or certified check for not less than $7,700, as security that the selected bidder will enter into a contract and provide a contract and maintenance bond in the amount of 100% of the total contract price. Bid bonds must be executed by a duly licensed corporate surety. No bidder may withdraw their proposal for sixty (60) days after the bid opening. Proposals must be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the Clerk of Sanitary and Improvement District 368 and marked accordingly, with the bid security in a separate sealed envelope attached to the proposal. The contract will be awarded to the responsible bidder submitting the lowest acceptable bid in accordance with the plans and specifications. Plans and specifications may be obtained at the E & A Consulting Group, Inc. office upon payment of $40.00. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities and irregularities.
