The project includes the renovation of restrooms and other spaces at two schools. At Castle High School, the scope involves renovating ten restrooms (four multi-compartment and two single occupancy on the first floor, and four multi-compartment on the second floor). The restroom renovations will involve new piping and plumbing fixtures, new toilet accessories, new floor tile, new wall tile, new toilet partitions, new doors and frames, new lay-in ceiling, lighting, and exhaust fans. Additionally, there will be renovation and remodel of two lab classrooms on the second floor and the removal and replacement of 43 VAV terminal units on the second floor, with the VAV units provided by the owner. At Tecumseh High School, the scope involves renovations to four multi-compartment restrooms, including new piping and plumbing fixtures, new toilet accessories, new floor tile, new wall paint and tile accents, new toilet partitions, new lay-in ceiling, lighting, and exhaust fans. Bidders must furnish all materials and labor for the project. Bids must be submitted on the required forms and must include bid security in the form of a certified check or bid bond of at least five percent of the bid amount. Bidders are required to submit a financial statement, copies of drug testing and background check programs in compliance with the owner's policy, and an E-Verify Affidavit. All offers must remain irrevocable for 60 days after submission. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers.
