Site work and paving for a road / highway in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidental work necessary for placing a rubberized or conventional asphalt concrete pavement overlay or slurry seal; repairing failed pavement (base repair); grinding the pavement to accommodate the overlay (cold planning); adjusting manholes to grade; installing ADA compliant curb ramps; placing pavement striping, markings, and markers; and other items and details described in the Special Provisions within Sacramento County. The Project is performed in strict conformance with specifications, applicable permits, and regulations. The quantities listed are approximate and for bid comparison; actual quantities may vary at County discretion. Question Deadline Apr 09, 2026 at 2:00 PM Pre-bid questions must be submitted via the Q&A tab in the SacCountyEbids portal. No questions will be answered after this deadline. Bidders must submit electronic bids through the specified online portal, use the bid forms supplied, and include a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check, or cash security of not less than 10% of the bid. The successful bidder must execute a material and labor payment bond and performance bond, each for 100% of the contract price. Only contractors holding a valid California General Engineering Contractor (Class A) license and registered with the Department of Industrial Relations may be awarded the contract. The successful bidder must comply with prevailing wage requirements and all vehicles used may be subject to CARB Advanced Clean Fleets regulations. Subcontractor information and proper forms must be provided. All bids must contain a non-collusion declaration and responses to contractor certification requirements including the Iran Contracting Act disclosure. The basis for award is the base bid only. There is no pre-bid meeting for this project. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality, and determine the lowest responsive bid.
