Work contemplated to be performed under this contract is as follows: Construct RRFB System, Conduit and Junction Box Installation, Asphalt Trail Removal and Construction, Installation of Signing, Property Restoration and Miscellaneous Work. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the form of cash, certified check, cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to at least 5% of the amount of such bid. Checks shall be made payable to the City Treasurer. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish a satisfactory performance and payment bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid bond shall be forfeited to the City of Bellevue. Supplemental Responsible Bidder Criteria will apply to this project, and are included in Section 1-02 of the Standard Specifications and Special Provisions. The City of Bellevue reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities and informalities in the bidding process. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date and time set for the opening thereof.
