Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Glencoe, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
Window Film Installation Notice is hereby given that sealed bid proposals will be received by the Glencoe Park District, Glencoe, Illinois for the Shatter-Resistant & Tinted Security Film Installation in accordance with instructions to bidders and specifications. Any questions regarding the specifications or bid information must be directed to the Director of Parks and Planning at 847-835-3030 or kkuhs@glencoeparkdistrict.com prior to bid submitting. Bid Security is not required for this bid submission. Bids received after closing time will be returned unopened. The public opening is for information only, and is not to be construed as acceptance or rejection of any bid. Award to successful bidder will be made within sixty (60) days. Contractor is responsible for all measurements, and must personally inspect the site to verify the scope of the work to be bid. The successful bidder will be required to comply with all laws, statutes, regulations, ordinances, rulings or enactments of any governmental authority which are applicable to the work or the project. The Owner has determined that the work is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and the successful bidder shall pay Cook County, Illinois Prevailing Wages and shall utilize equal opportunity hiring practices. The Contractor is advised that the Illinois Department of Labor revises the prevailing wage rates and the Contractor/subcontractor has an obligation to check the Department's web site for revisions to prevailing wage rates. The Board of Park Commissioners of the Glencoe Park District, Cook County, Illinois, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part thereof, and to accept the bids deemed to be in the best interests of the Glencoe Park District. The Glencoe Park District is soliciting sealed bids for the furnishing and installation of approximately 3,498 square feet of Armorcoat(R) 8 Mil Stainless Steel 35 Safety & Security Film Product Specification sheet attached. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, surface preparation, installation, edge sealing (if required), and cleanup necessary to complete the project. Bidders are responsible for verifying field measurements. Contractor shall enter into the Independent Contractor Agreement attached hereto. This Invitation to Bid, the accepted Bid, and the Independent Contractor Agreement attached hereto shall comprise the Contract Documents. To receive consideration, requests for interpretation must be made no later than two ("2") working days prior to the date set for receipt of bid
