The work consists of the 2026 Deck Sealing Program. Proposals must be executed on forms furnished by the County in accordance with Revised Indiana Form 96 and be accompanied by the Contractor's Financial Statement from Form 96 for proposals of $5,000 or more. An itemized proposal of the approximate quantities and components of labor and materials to complete the contract is required. The proposal must be on standard bid sheets with an authorized contractor signature, and the bid sheet must be the first page of the submittal. Each proposal must include a non-collusion affidavit. Bids are to be enclosed in a sealed envelope with the project title and bidder's name and address. Bids will only be accepted from bidders who are sufficiently and currently pre-qualified by the Indiana Department of Transportation, with proof of pre-qualification submitted with the bid. A satisfactory bid bond (10% of bid) payable to the Board must be included. Work may begin on May 25, 2026, and must be completed by October 23, 2026. Delays will result in liquidated damages of $1,000 per day per item. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive any informalities in the bidding.
