Renovation of a military facility in Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
This effort is limited to market research to identify and assess the capabilities of contractors, including small businesses, that can perform overhead door repair services in accordance with an attached Performance Work Statement. The Government is seeking industry input on the ability to perform the described repair work, business size classification and appropriate NAICS code, registration status in SAM.gov, use of subcontractors versus self-performance, warranty practices compared to industry standards, estimated time required to complete the work, feasibility of the work as described, recommended modifications to the Performance Work Statement if applicable, and confirmation of proper insurance coverage for performing this type of work in the State of Illinois. No construction or repair work is authorized under this notice, and no contract award will result from responses submitted. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time. The 126th Air Refueling Wing (Arw) Requires The Repair Of Multiple Overhead Doors Across The 126th Arw Campus In Accordance With (Iaw) The Performance Work Statement (Pws), Dated 5 February 2026. The 126th BASE Contracting Office Is Soliciting This Request For Quote (RFQ) To Award A Single Firm Fixed Price Contract. This Project Is Solicited As A Small Business Set-aside. The Naics Is 236220, The Small Business Size Standard Is $45,000,000.00. The Estimated Magnitude Of This Project Is Between $100,000 And $250,000. Award Will Be Made To The Offeror WHO Represents The Best Value To The Government As Outlined In Accordance With The Criteria Set Forth Within The Solicitation. Question Deadline 04/24/2026 All questions and quotes must be directed to 126 Contracting Officer via email at 126. arw.msc@us.af.mil. Questions asked within 1 week of solicitation close will be answered at the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
