The work involves the removal and disposal of one 5,000-gallon aboveground storage tank (JP-8) located at the 126th Air Refueling Wing at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. The tank has been empty and out of service for more than ten years and will be de-energized with no electrical power connected. Access to the tank location is sufficient for trucks and equipment needed to complete the removal. Contractors are asked to provide information on their capability to perform the work, the feasibility of the requirement as described, possible methods for completing the tank removal, estimated pricing, schedule considerations for a projected fourth-quarter FY26 performance period, and confirmation of appropriate insurance and labor categories needed to perform this type of work in Illinois. Location: Scott Air Force Base, 310 W Losey St, Scott AFB, IL 62225, USA. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
