Description

Remodeling of a municipal facility in Crandon, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the remodel of a municipal facility.

The scope of work includes minor selective demolition of existing walls, ceilings, and doors. New work consists of constructing new steel stud walls finished with drywall, installing new suspended ceilings, patching existing LVT plank flooring and vinyl base, and installing new laminate work surfaces supported by steel angle brackets. A new reception area will be constructed with laminate wall cladding and countertop work surfaces, with all counter edges finished with 3 mm PVC edging. Some existing power and data outlets will be relocated and additional outlets added. Existing ceiling light fixtures and HVAC ductwork, louvers, and diffusers will be relocated, with new fixtures and components added as needed. New solid core doors and hardware matching existing will be installed. Electrical contractor is responsible for power and lighting layout design per code, arranging and paying for required inspections and fees. HVAC contractor will provide design and balancing of ductwork, and submit balancing reports prior to substantial completion. Bidders must submit sealed bids prior to the specified time and location. Bids delivered by email or fax will not be accepted. A 10% bid bond and a 100% material and labor payment/performance bond are required. Digital drawings and specifications will be available and bidders must register with the architect before bidding. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and walkthrough will be held at the site.
