Renovation of a mixed-use development in Crandon, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a two-story above grade, one-story below grade detention facility; and two-story above grade, one-story below grade municipal facility.

Work consists of finishing the interior of the Forest County South Annex, previously known as the Forest County Sheriff's Residence and County Jail. The scope includes interior demolition of plumbing and heating equipment and piping, new interior wall framing, insulation, floor prep for LVT tile and carpet, new wood doors in steel frames, installation and finishing of gypsum board walls, suspended acoustic ceilings, furring of existing exterior concrete walls, reconstruction of some wood framed floors, walls and ceilings, kitchen casework and counter tops, insulation of some existing concrete walls in the basement and storage with rigid foam, insulation of an attic area with blown-in-place cellulose, two accessible toilet rooms with grab bars, scald protection and mirrors, and an exterior aluminum prefabricated accessible ramp. Exterior walls on the first and second floors of the office side will be insulated with closed cell spray foam. The HVAC system will be new, including natural gas forced air with AC and spot electric heaters in tempered storage areas. All electric wiring, fixtures and devices will be new and connected to a new 100-amp service. All work except for the exterior ramp is within the exterior envelope of the building and can be completed during winter months. A 10% bid bond and 100% material and labor payment/performance bond will be required. Digital drawings and specifications will be available and can be obtained by contacting the architect. There is no charge for bidding documents, but bidders are encouraged to register with the architect before bidding.
