RFP D/B - Sokaogon Chippewa Community Design-Build Services for Energy-Efficient Home Construction The project involves the design and construction of a minimum of three three-bedroom and three four-bedroom homes and a maximum of ten homes. The scope includes site surveys, geotechnical or soil studies, design engineering, environmental permitting, utility infrastructure setup (water, wastewater, and broadband), and construction for the proposed homes. Proposals must be received in a protected electronic version including any supporting documentation. The SCC highly encourages early submission of proposals. Late proposals will not be considered. Bids will be opened publicly. The scope includes activities such as site surveys, geotechnical or soil studies, design engineering, environmental permitting, utility infrastructure (water, wastewater, and broadband) set up, and construction for the proposed homes. These residences will be constructed on the Sokaogon Chippewa Community Reservation located in southwest Forest County, Wisconsin. The project involves the design and construction of a minimum of three three-bedroom and three fourbedroom homes and a maximum of ten homes. These residences will integrate energy-efficient design features and construction methods consistent with the Department of Energy's definitions. While the homes are not required to achieve net-zero status, they should incorporate net-zero construction principles, including high-performance building systems, high-efficiency windows, all-electric appliances, and solar-ready homes. The proposer must assist the Tribe in evaluating the design and cost impacts of adding garages and basements, ADA compliance, and building material options.
