Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Shullsburg, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Project consists of parking lot reconstruction. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least five percent (5%) of the amount bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the Bidder as soon as the contract is signed. If after 15 days the Bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the OWNER as liquidated damages. Online BIDDER is required to deliver the original certified check, bank money order, or bid bond within 72 hours of bid opening to Delta 3 Engineering, Inc. Bids may not be withdrawn within 90 days after the date of the bid opening. The OWNER reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity of any item or portion of the work, or to omit portions of the work, as may be deemed necessary by the OWNER, with appropriate adjustments to the contract price. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids, or any part of a bid, and to award the Contract to the Bidder, who in the judgment of the OWNER, will best serve the interest of the OWNER. A good faith effort is required to achieve a combined minimum goal of participation for Minority-owned Business Enterprises (MBEs), Women's Business Enterprises (WBEs), Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), and Small Businesses in Rural Areas (SBRAs) in accordance with applicable Wisconsin statutes and administrative codes. Work of each separate Contract is identified in the following and on Drawings: 1. Contract #1: a. Location: 1) Mineral Street from Water Street to Galena Street. 2) Parking Lot between Mineral Street and Galena Street. b. Description of Work to be completed: Street and parking lot reconstruction. Work includes: 1) Traffic control. 2) Installation and maintenance of erosion control measures. 3) Installation of storm sewer. 4) Street and parking lot reconstruction: a) Excavation of street, parking lot, concrete curb & gutter, sidewalks, etc. b) Placement of select crushed material. c) Placement of crushed aggregate base course. d) Installation of curb and gutter. e) Placement of HMA pavement. f) Installation of concrete sidewalks and driveways. g) Pavement markings. 5) Landscaping and restoration.
