Renovation of an educational facility in Hermiston, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The scope of work consists of providing materials and labor to update HVAC equipment in the gym, kitchen, and music room at Highland Hills Elementary School, 450 SE 10th St, Hermiston, OR 97838. Instructions to bidders include submitting sealed bids in writing from qualified contractors by 2:00 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time on the specified due date at the Hermiston School District Office, 305 SW 11th St, Hermiston, OR. Late bids will not be considered. The First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Form must be submitted in a separate envelope within two business hours after the advertised bid closing time. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the school and attendance is required. Electronic bid documents are available at oregonbuys.gov, and prospective bidders must monitor the webpage for addenda or updates. Each bid must contain a statement regarding compliance with prevailing wage requirements and be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond equal to ten percent of the Basic Bid. No bidder may withdraw their bid after the opening, unless the award is delayed more than thirty days. The owner reserves the right to waive irregularities, cancel the procurement, reject any or all bids, and accept only bids deemed in the owner's best interest.
