The work includes the following: 1) Furnish, install, maintain, and remove traffic control devices 2) Cold plane pavement removal 3) Asphalt pavement saw cutting 4) Install asphalt concrete pavement 5) Install geosynthetics 6) Install asphalt wingouts 7) Install striping 8) Perform additional and incidental work as called for by the specifications and plans. This solicitation is for a public works project subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870 and the Federal Prevailing Rate Wage required under the Davis-Bacon Act (40 U.S.C. 3141 Et Seq.). This project is subject to prevailing wage rates, "BUY AMERICA" and "BUILD AMERICA BUY AMERICA" requirements, and contains a 500 hour On-the-Job Training (OJT) Goal. Pre-qualification requirements: Pre-qualification with ODOT and Linn County is required. Pre-qualification applications must be filed with ODOT at least ten days prior to bid opening. If not already on file with Linn County, submit a copy of the prequalification application submitted to ODOT to the Linn County Engineer at least 5 calendar days prior to bid opening. All bidders must be qualified within the appropriate class(es) of work for the project: A) Asphalt Concrete Paving and Oiling, or B) a combination of 1) Miscellaneous Highway Appurtenances and 2) Temporary Traffic Control. The Agency will reject bids from bidders not prequalified for the indicated class(es) of work.
