Sealed bids are requested in a single contract proposal for the North Bend Housing Authority Administration Building stair and handrail replacement project. The project includes the demolition, removal, and replacement of the exterior deck stairs, the deck, handrails and guardrails, and the ramp handrails and guardrails. It also includes miscellaneous structural upgrades to deck and ramp supports, including the addition and replacement of supports. Bids must be in writing and delivered to the specified office. Construction documents may be examined at the Architect's office and at various plan centers. Online documents are available free of charge to registered bidders and suppliers. Prime bidders may obtain one set of paper bidding documents at the Architect's office upon deposit. The Pre-Bid Conference is mandatory. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a Cashier's Check or a bid bond for 10% of the bid amount and must guarantee bids for 30 days after opening. The project is subject to Davis-Bacon Minimum Wage Rate Requirements. Within two hours of bid opening, bidders considered responsive must submit a disclosure form for all first-tier subcontractors whose contract value exceeds 5% of the bid or $15,000, whichever is greater.
