The City of Phoenix seeks qualified contractors to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to design, install, and commission a solar photovoltaic (PV) system on city-owned real property. The project includes, but is not limited to: design and engineering of a solar PV system sized to provide up to 100% of the facility energy requirements; procurement and installation of solar panels, inverters, racking systems, and all associated electrical equipment; electrical interconnection to existing electrical service; installation of monitoring and data acquisition systems; obtaining all necessary permits, inspections, and utility interconnection approvals; commissioning and testing of the complete system; training of city personnel on system operation and maintenance; provision of all warranties, operation manuals, and as-built documentation; compliance with all applicable building codes, electrical codes, and utility requirements; site restoration and cleanup upon project completion; and processing of all applicable rebates. Bidders must add their name to the plan holders list at the time of document purchase to be eligible to bid. Minimum qualifications and requirements for bidders can be found in the Invitation to Bid. Proposals received after the time fixed for opening will not be considered. The City of Phoenix reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities in the bid or in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw their proposal after the hours set for the opening thereof, or before award of contract, unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) calendar days.
