The scope of work consists of removal of the existing wading pool and associated equipment, full replacement of pool filter room piping and systems, and reconstruction of the concrete pool deck. Work also includes installation of new floor drains, cleanouts, and underground drainage piping tied into the municipal sewer. A new 5,000-gallon backwash holding tank will be installed, and the perimeter fencing and pool gates will be replaced. The existing pool shell and gutter system will remain and must be protected during construction. All work must comply with New York State and local codes, and the pool will be reopened for public use in summer 2026. Instructions to bidders include the following: Only those who obtain bidding documents from the designated website can submit a bid. Bidding documents are available electronically for a non-refundable fee or in print for a deposit. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified bank check or bid bond for not less than 5% of the bid amount. Statement of non-collusion and certificate of registration are required. Successful bidders must furnish performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the contract amount. The Owner is exempt from New York State sales and use taxes on materials and equipment for the project. Bids must remain binding for sixty days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive informalities.
