Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The Salt Lake City School District, in conjunction with its design-build partner McKinstry, is seeking a vendor to provide mechanical energy upgrade work at Whittier Elementary School. The general intent of the work is to replace aging, inefficient heating and cooling infrastructure with modernized equipment to improve system reliability and energy performance. The base scope of work includes the replacement of two boilers, one water-cooled chiller, one cooling tower, and ancillary equipment including two HHW secondary loop pumps, one CWH pump, and one CW pump, with VFDs for each. Proposals must comply with the RFP language regarding the information and format required for submission. Evaluation will be based on specified criteria. Questions Due Date: Apr 3rd 2026, 5:00 PM MDT All questions must be submitted through online , and only official addenda issued by the SLCSD Purchasing Department will be binding. Modifications must be made by addendum. Any responses based on unofficial information may be deemed non-responsive. Submissions must be made through Bonfire prior to the deadline; incomplete or late submissions will be rejected.
