The Salt Lake City School District (SLCSD), in conjunction with our design-build partner McKinstry, is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking a vendor to provide energy upgrade work to be completed at Whittier Elementary School, located at 1600 S 300 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84115. The Salt Lake City School District, with its design-build partner McKinstry, is seeking a vendor to perform energy upgrade work at Whittier Elementary School. The base scope of work includes the replacement of two boilers, one water-cooled chiller, and one cooling tower. The scope also includes the replacement of ancillary equipment: two HHW secondary loop pumps, one CWH pump, and one CW pump, including VFDs for each. Bidders must pay special attention to the required information and proposal format specified in the RFP. All questions about the solicitation must be submitted through the Bonfire system, and only responses and addenda issued via Bonfire are considered official and binding. Modifications to the procurement effort will only be made via officially issued addenda. Proposals submitted through sources other than official addenda risk non-responsiveness and may be rejected.
