Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The Salt Lake City School District, together with its design-build partner McKinstry, is seeking a vendor to provide energy upgrade work at Whittier Elementary School. The base scope of work includes the replacement of two boilers, one water-cooled chiller, one cooling tower, as well as ancillary equipment including two hot water secondary loop pumps, one chilled water pump, and one condenser water pump, with variable frequency drives (VFDs) for each pump. Special attention must be paid to the required information for submission and its format as specified in the RFP. Proposals will be evaluated according to specified criteria. All questions regarding the solicitation must be submitted through the Bonfire system, and only answers or addenda issued through this system are considered official. Any modifications to the procurement will only be valid if made by addendum from the SLCSD Purchasing Department. Any communications or information from sources other than officially issued addenda are at the risk of the bidder and may result in a determination of non-responsiveness. Submissions must be made through Bonfire, and only completed submissions by the deadline will be accepted.
