Contract No. 26-R01 - consists of 1 PennDOT Type 1A ADA Ramp, 2 PennDOT Type 2 ADA Ramps, and 3 PennDOT Type 1 ADA Ramps, remove and replacement of concrete curb, including all worker protection, site preparations and site clean-up. Add Alternative consist of one PennDOT Type 2 ADA Ramp including remove and replacement of concrete curb, including all worker protection, site preparations and site clean-up. 13 percent Minority and 2 percent Female Business Enterprise; and the Allegheny County Ordinance #6867-12, setting forth goals of 5 percent Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. Any technical questions regarding the bid documents are to be directed to LSSE. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the AVNCOG and be accompanied by a bid bond, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid made payable to the Allegheny Valley North Council of Governments. The AVNCOG reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all proposals, for any reason whatsoever within ninety (90) days of the date of bid opening; provided, however, that the AVNCOG may, in its sole discretion, delay such award or rejection for up to one hundred twenty (120) days from the bid opening date until the AVNCOG has received all required approvals from other governmental agencies.
