Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Fresno, California. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The scope of work includes providing labor and materials to furnish and install approximately 140 ft x 24 ft (3,360 sq. ft.) of a covered shade structure over the front parking stalls of the Fresno Area Express Administration Building parking lot. Instructions to bidders include: - A valid Class "A" or "B" Contractor's License issued by the State of California is required. - Bids must be valid for 64 days from bid opening. - Liquidated damages are set at $500 per calendar day. - Bid bond of 10%, payment bond of 100%, and performance bond of 100% are required. - Both electronic and paper responses are accepted. - Bids will be awarded as a lump sum. - A remote pre-bid meeting will be held; attendance is not required. - Online Q&A is available until the deadline. - Bidders are directed to download specifications for full details. Bid Valid 64 Days from Bid Opening Liquidated Damages $500 Per Calendar Day Project Duration 90 Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed Question Deadline 04/21/2026 at 5:00 PM PT Deadline for submitting questions online. Any questions or concerns relating to these Specifications shall be directed in writing via e-mail to Purchasing@fresno.gov All proposals must be made on the Bid Proposal Form provided by the Purchasing Manager and must be accompanied by a Bid Deposit in the amount of TEN PERCENT (10%) of the Total Net Bid Amount (or, in bids with Add Alternates, the highest possible combination of the Base Bid plus Add Alternates) in the form of a certified or cashier's check, an irrevocable letter of credit, or a certificate of deposit or a bidder's bond executed by a corporate surety, admitted by the California Insurance Commissioner to do business in California, payable and acceptable to the City of Fresno; or the Bidder shall have registered with the Purchasing Manager of the City an annual bid bond sufficient to provide coverage in such amount. All Bid Deposits will be held until a Contract has been executed with the successful Bidder or all bids have been rejected. Copies of Bid Deposits may be submitted electronically, except for a certified or cashier's check, which must be brought to the Purchasing Manager's office and labeled accordingly with bid file number prior to the bid opening. The City of Fresno reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
