Site improvements and preparation for a new playground. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to possess one or more of the following State of California contractors’ license(s): A and/or B Contractor Licenses. The Bidder's license(s) must remain active and in good standing throughout the term of the Contract. Bonding required for this project is as follows: Bid Bond, 10% of the total bid. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if it is awarded the Contract for the Work. All prime bidders must be prequalified. Second-tier subcontractors do not need pre-qualification. Bidders not prequalified will be considered non-responsive. Bidders and all subcontractors must pay prevailing wage rates, be registered with the DIR, and furnish electronic certified payroll records weekly and upon request. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed via email to the District to Carlos Liu at carlos@fs3h.com.be issued in writing by Addenda and emailed, faxed, mailed, or delivered to all parties recorded by the District as having received the Contract Documents. Questions received less than SEVEN (7) calendar days prior to the date for opening bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
