The scope of work includes district-wide landscaping and grounds maintenance services for Torringford School, Forbes School, Vogel-Wetmore School, Southwest School, Torrington Intermediate (TIS), and 50 MBD Major Besse Drive. Additionally, turf maintenance services are required for Torrington Intermediate (TIS) and 50 MBD Major Besse Drive, as further detailed in Schedule A. Contractors are to provide the services, labor, and supplies for some or all of these facilities. There is no guarantee as to the quantity of services that may be purchased during the agreement term. Bidders must review and agree to execute the provided form of contract without condition, modification, or exception, except as necessary to incorporate acceptable bid terms. If selected, bidders must sign the contract within two days of presentation. Each bid must include a lump sum price for the full scope of services for each facility during each of the indicated contract years, with separate pricing for different services where specified. Bidders may also propose combined prices for grouped facilities as indicated on the bid form. Proposed pricing for possible extension periods must be included as a percentage increase over the price for services in the year 2028. All pricing should be tax-exempt, omitting state and federal taxes from proposed prices and invoices.
