The work involves new storm drainage installation on Belltown Road and catch basin top resets/rehabilitation in preparation for the 2026 Roadway Paving Program. The locations include Belltown Road as well as Barrington Way, Duxbury Lane, Lexington Road, Long Hill Drive, Querido Drive, and Urbanec Road in Glastonbury. Bidders must submit proposals online. Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond or certified check for not less than 10% of the base bid is required. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance, labor, and material payment bonds for the full contract price. The project is subject to Connecticut prevailing wage requirements and state set-aside goals for subcontracting with DAS-certified businesses. Bidders are alerted to specific schedule requirements and compliance with various state statutes regarding nondiscrimination and contract allocation goals. The Town reserves the right to amend or withdraw the invitation, and to accept, reject, or waive informalities in bids at its discretion. A bid may be rejected for irregularities, incompleteness, or noncompliance with document standards.
